Wishing everyone a Happy New Year! Just a reminder that all of our offices will be closed on Wednesday, January 1.Payment Security
Maintaining optimal security is a growing concern as technology progresses, but modern tools are available to help keep your customers' card data safe and secure. We also offer services to ensure your business complies by industry standards.
PCI DSS Compliance
If your business accepts credit and debit cards, you must be able to validate that you are compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). This is an industry security standard to help reduce the risk of fraud, and help prevent the theft of customer cardholder data. We partner with a leading vendor to provide this validation service to our merchants. The validation process requires you to complete a Self Assessment Questionnaire, and you may be required to perform annual penetration testing and quarterly network scans. Our representatives are on hand to help guide you through the entire process.
EMV Capable Terminals
Implement EMV chip technology in your point-of-sale terminal to counter fraud risks. Traditional magnetic stripes on the back of cards contain fixed data that can be skimmed and replicated, but microchips generate new, non-reusable transaction codes with each use. Even if data is compromised during a transaction, it would be irrelevant for the next transaction, making the stolen data useless to thieves. When consumers are able to pay with chip cards in-person they can have greater confidence that their transaction will be secure. Help reduce fraud risks and protect your business from the financial responsibilities of counterfeit card transactions.
Managing fraud and risk
Whether you're looking to enhance safeguards for everyday transactions or strengthen international trade procedures, we offer the resources and tools to help you prevent fraud and manage financial risk.
