Lancaster, Pa. (July 31, 2024) – Fulton Forward Foundation, an independent, non-profit private foundation funded by Fulton Bank, recently presented a $300,000 grant to the Greater Philadelphia YMCA, a nonprofit organization that provides crucial youth development, healthy living and social responsibility programs and services to more than 180,000 members and 240,000 individuals a year across the Delaware Valley.

“Creating and sustaining healthy communities that promote well-being for all is a critical part of our mission at Fulton Bank,” said William “Smokey” Glover, executive vice president and director of fair and responsible banking for Fulton Bank and president of Fulton Forward Foundation. “We’re thrilled to support the Greater Philadelphia YMCA’s commitment to ensuring that every member of the community has access to the essential social, development and wellness resources they need to live a better life.”

We are very grateful for this generous grant from Fulton Bank, a local partner and business leader who understands the importance of building strong communities,” said Shaun Elliott, CEO of the Greater Philadelphia YMCA. “This investment will help fund the critical services we provide each day in our mission to connect people to healthier lives. And we can’t do that work without the support of partners who are deeply committed to our communities, like Fulton.”

The Fulton Forward Foundation is an extension of the bank’s Fulton Forward® initiative, which promotes diversity, equity and inclusion; encourages the building of vibrant communities; fosters affordable housing; drives economic development; and increases financial literacy in the communities served by Fulton Bank.
