Town Point Center location houses growing commercial banking team

Lancaster, Pa. (October 12, 2023) – Fulton Bank, a subsidiary of Fulton Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: FULT), recently celebrated the opening of its newest office in Norfolk, VA, with a ribbon cutting at the Town Point Center building.

The location at 150 Boush Street serves as the base for Fulton’s growing team of commercial banking relationship managers.

“We’re excited to expand our presence here in Norfolk, which is home to thriving businesses, innovative entrepreneurs, and hard-working people who make this a great place to live,” said Curt Myers, Chairman, President and CEO of Fulton. “Fulton Bank is committed to supporting our neighbors, companies and local economies. This helps communities thrive, and it ultimately fulfills our purpose to change lives for the better.”

“Over the past couple years, we’ve added six commercial banking relationship managers to our team here in Hampton Roads,” said Jean Galliano, Commercial Market Executive for Fulton Bank. “They’re focused on serving as trusted advisors and providing valuable financial solutions to small businesses, middle-market and corporate clients. They can also connect businesses with our specialized teams in areas such as government services, healthcare banking and Small Business Administration lending.”

During the ribbon cutting, Fulton Bank presented a $5,000 donation to VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads in support of its Family Volunteer Day at Tidewater Gardens on Nov. 18. In partnership with the City of Norfolk and local nonprofit organizations, the day will include an opportunity to plant trees and paint murals; a community festival; and food and welcome basket giveaways.

"We are grateful for the invaluable support of Fulton Bank,” said Stephanie Gorham, President and CEO of VOUNTEER Hampton Roads. “Through our partnership, we are actively bridging the gap between businesses, community organizations, and dedicated volunteers, fostering a more engaged and resilient region. Together, we are driving positive change and building community through connections and active participation."

As a thank-you to those who attended the ribbon cutting, Fulton Bank also made a donation on behalf of each attendee, for a total of $750 to The Up Center. The center provides mental health counseling, parenting education and support, youth mentoring, foster care and adoption, housing and financial counseling, and services for people with disabilities. The Up Center and Fulton Bank were both founded in the early 1880s, and each recently marked their 140th anniversary.

The Town Point Center office expands on Fulton Bank’s growing presence in Norfolk and the surrounding area, which includes five financial centers, mortgage banking and other offices.
