Employee Spotlight

Sam Kulp

Samantha Kulp first joined Fulton Bank as an intern with Fulton Financial Advisors during her junior year of college. After graduating from Elizabethtown College with a degree in business administration in 2016, she accepted a position with Amazon. But within a year, she found herself exploring new positions with Fulton Bank.

In 2017, she rejoined Fulton as a Management Trainee with a rotation in enterprise risk management. She completed five rotations over the next nine months, including one at a local branch. Upon completion of the trainee program, Samantha was hired as a full-time associate analyst in the Controller’s department.

Today, Samantha serves as a Senior Analyst in Fulton’s Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) group, which was formed by the Bank’s CFO a few years ago. In time, she hopes to become a manager.

When asked about the most rewarding part of her job, Samantha credits the volunteer opportunities at Fulton Bank.

“Volunteerism is an important part of the Management Trainee Program at Fulton. I had the opportunity to teach financial literacy classes for Tenfold, a Lancaster-based nonprofit and recently led a class at our local community college,” she stated.

Today, Samantha is in the process of earning a graduate certificate from Penn State University in Financial Engineering with the full support of Fulton and her team.
